Welcome
About Me
Thank you for visiting my website. I have always had a passion for health and nutrition throughout my life. I'm currently thirty years of age and have been working as a primary school teacher by the coast, living with my partner and two beautiful border collies.
I have always lived a very active lifestyle, bushwalking, love the gym, swimming, surfing, freediving anything water-related. A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with a very rare soft tissue/bone cancer in my spine. I needed emergency surgery to remove a very large tumour leaving me unable to move or walk for months. I was told I may not make it through the surgery or even walk again. I had to rehab my body, rewire my brain and learn to stand, walk and move again. In my two years of recovery, I decided to listen to my intuition take the plunge to study nutrition/natural health at Endeavour College. I am so glad I did!
Studying nutrition has not only given me purpose while in recovery but also provided me with the knowledge on how to heal my body from the inside out. Chronic pain and inflammation was something I dealt with daily. I chose to get myself of medications as soon as I could and rebuild my body and immunity through food. I can't wait to share my knowledge and recipes that with you!
Use food as fuel,
our soul only has one place to live.
Treat your body like a temple,
love it,
respect it,
move it,
nourish it.
We only get one body & one life so look after it & make it a life worth living!
